AI tree identifier for leaf, bark, flower and fruit photos
Tree Identifier by Photo is an AI-assisted web app for identifying possible tree species from an uploaded image or a camera photo. It is designed for quick visual help with leaves, bark, flowers, cones, fruit, tree shape, and other visible clues.
How the tree photo identifier works
Upload a clear tree photo or take a camera shot, then add optional context such as where the tree was found, the season, visible features, tree size, and the kind of result you need. The app sends the image and compact form details to the protected server-side AI API and returns an editable identification report.
What improves the result?
- Leaves or needles: include clear close-ups when possible.
- Bark and shape: show trunk texture, branching pattern, and overall silhouette.
- Flowers, cones, fruit, or seeds: these details can narrow similar species.
- Location and season: country, region, habitat, and time of year help the AI avoid unlikely matches.
Free web preview and Google Play placeholder
The current website version includes a 3-identification free preview limit. After the free identifications are used, the app shows a Google Play call-to-action that currently links to the developer page as a placeholder until a dedicated app listing or website subscription is added.
Important safety note
AI tree identification from a photo is not a professional botanical determination. Do not eat leaves, bark, fruit, nuts, mushrooms growing near trees, or any plant material based only on AI output. Verify important identifications with a qualified local expert, arborist, extension office, field guide, or botanical source.
